Entrepreneurship competences in I4.0 and A.I LEAD MIGRANTS TO INCLUSION

2023 - 2025 PROJECT WRITING AND PROJECT LEADER

The objectives we want to achieve are:

to give migrants skills in entrepreneurship in innovative sectors (such as Industry 4.0 or Artificial Intelligence), providing them with educational materials made by migrants from the same country of origin (with the same language and culture)
to reduce migrants' unemployment rate, supporting them in becoming entrepreneurs
to make migrants feel more included in local society thanks to the connections established between local entrepreneurs and migrants and through the storytelling of migrants

The sub-objectives are:

migrants with entrepreneurial skills
migrants with more information about the local territories and opportunities
local community more involved in migrants' needs
migrants are seen by local entrepreneurs as a strength and not as a weight

The concrete results/output will be:

videos made by migrants in a Fablab, showing how to create a product with Industry 4.0 (I 4.0) or Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies in their mother tongue (for example, how to use a 3D printer or make a laser cut)
stories told by migrants about their migration, their daily life, and their dreams in their mother tongue with subtitles in the local language
social cooperatives created and managed by migrants
job offers for migrants/subcontractors for their social enterprise, inserted by local entrepreneurs in the platform dedicated to them
network of academic institutions and business organisations to develop synergies among science, education, and entrepreneurship

2017 - YOUTH EXCHANGE - ITALY - SPAIN - TURKEY - ALBANIA - PORTUGAL - MACEDONIA

The objectives we want to achieve are:

to improve the entrepreneurial skills of young people aged 17 to 35 from different European and Mediterranean countries
to provide participants with the knowledge and tools needed to identify entrepreneurial opportunities and develop their own business ideas
to foster intercultural exchange and cooperation among young people through non-formal learning and international mobility

The sub-objectives are:

young people equipped with the key skills needed to become entrepreneurs
young people with knowledge of the basic principles of a business plan and profit and loss management
young people able to use strategic tools such as the SWOT model to analyse their business ideas
young people capable of presenting and selling their business ideas to potential investors and clients
young people with the ability to make best use of available resources and promote a start-up

The concrete results/output will be:

30 young people aged 17 to 35 from Spain, North Macedonia, Croatia, Greece and Jordan trained through one week of entrepreneurship training held in Trento, Italy
training sessions delivered on how to identify the key skills of an entrepreneur, the basic principles of a business plan, and the fundamentals of profit and loss management
practical workshops on the use of the SWOT model as a strategic analysis tool
pitch sessions in which participants practised presenting and selling their business ideas to potential investors and clients
a strengthened transnational network of young aspiring entrepreneurs across 5 countries

LIVING AND INNOVATIVE MUSEUM - LIM4ALL

The objectives we want to achieve are:

to transform a "museum to be seen" into a "living museum" that becomes the focal point of local development
to improve training, inclusion and dissemination through the digitalisation and gamification of the museum experience
to establish networks with local and international actors to create an innovation model and best practice using the innovation quintuple helix framework

The sub-objectives are:

museums adopting the concept of "living museum" and aligning with contemporary trends and innovative practices
museums acting as hubs for innovation and experimentation
local communities empowered and actively involved in museum activities
enhanced digital presence and innovation in museums through the development of digital skills and technological opportunities

The concrete results/output will be:

the brand identity created for the "living museum"
a best practice/guide developed on how to create a living museum
a map/app of the area accessible to people with disabilities, using storytelling techniques
a card game designed to allow visitors to discover the hidden treasures of the museum
local and international networks created in each participating country
proposals for merchandising activities associated with museums
15 young people trained per country, improving their skills in entertainment, design, photography, social media, digital tools, English language, teamwork and European values
5 young people per country selected for internships in hosting associations, SMEs or public bodies

2024 - ARTICREA. E - Artificial Intelligence for creativity and entrepreneurship

The objectives we want to achieve are:

to enable a Spanish NGO and an Italian NGO to become learning centres for creativity, expanding their capacity to disseminate art, culture and slow tourism
to improve local entrepreneurs' skills in Artificial Intelligence and their willingness to hire creative people
to give more job opportunities and self-confidence to unemployed adults with high creative skills but low job opportunities

The sub-objectives are:

creation of a network between creative and cultural industries, public entities and NGOs
inclusion of disabled people and migrants in society

The concrete results/output will be:

new ideas and possibilities for the partner organisations to become learning centres for creativity
local entrepreneurs more skilled in Artificial Intelligence and more willing to hire creative people
unemployed adults with high creative skills provided with more job opportunities and greater self-confidence
a network established between creative and cultural industries, public entities and NGOs
disabled people and migrants more included in society

EFYRA- ERASMUS PROJECT

The objectives we want to achieve are:

to identify the causes of youth migration in each partner's rural area through joint discussion among project partners
to identify concrete suggestions for preventing youth migration through active workshops
to make an impact on policy-making at EU level through the creation of the EFYRA Study

The sub-objectives are:

young people actively involved in analyses and workshops on youth migration in rural areas
experts (demographers and sociologists) contributing to the quality of analyses and thematic discussions c) project partners collaborating across countries to share findings and develop common solutions

The concrete results/output will be:

a joint analysis of the causes of youth migration conducted across all partner rural areas
active workshops held with young people to identify suggestions for preventing youth migration
the EFYRA Study, developed with the contribution of demographers, sociologists and young people, designed to influence policy-making at EU level

SOCIAL CROWDFUNDING FOR ENTREPRENEURS

The objectives we want to achieve are:

to improve the skills and competencies of young entrepreneurs in social crowdfunding as an innovative way of sourcing alternative funding for new projects, businesses and ideas
to enable participants to put their ideas into practice using available crowdfunding platforms and understanding the main types of crowdfunding
to help participants understand what differentiates an ethical and social investment from a speculative one

The sub-objectives are:

young entrepreneurs with improved knowledge of the basis of entrepreneurship
young entrepreneurs with a better understanding of sustainable economic development and ethical social behaviour
young entrepreneurs with knowledge of local and international financing and crowdfunding systems

The concrete results/output will be:

a Youth Exchange delivered in which young entrepreneurs learned and practised social crowdfunding skills and competencies
participants trained in the use of crowdfunding platforms and the main types of crowdfunding available
improved verbal communication in English, social skills and self-esteem among participants
a more realistic and confident view among participants of their own entrepreneurial capabilities
local and international group collaboration activities carried out across partner countries

The objectives we want to achieve are:

to enhance the partnership between Slow Tourism South Tyrol and AKTIVYSTAI and prevent adults' migration from rural areas in Lithuania and Italy
to create new employment and entrepreneurship opportunities in the tourism sector for adults living in rural areas
to include marginalised people and adults with immigrant backgrounds in local society

The sub-objectives are:

a) adults with enhanced digital skills b) adults with competencies in entrepreneurship c) adults with information, network and instruments to develop and promote slow tourism

The concrete results/output will be:

new employment and entrepreneurship opportunities created in the tourism sector for adults in rural areas of Lithuania and Italy
marginalised people and adults with immigrant backgrounds more included in local society
adults with improved digital skills
adults equipped with entrepreneurial competencies
adults provided with information, networks and practical instruments to enhance slow tourism in their local areas

General objective of the project: to enhance adult education through the development of green and digital competencies using micro-credentials, with a focus on sustainable practices, traditional craftsmanship, and cultural heritage. The sub-objectives are:

to create an interactive guide for educators on the use of micro-credentials in adult education
to develop and test three learning pathways on the topics of product recycling, traditional craftsmanship and sustainable techniques, and cultural and natural heritage
to promote international cooperation and the exchange of best practices among partner organisations in Poland, Italy, Finland, and North Macedonia

The results will be:

1 interactive guide for educators on micro-credentials in adult education, tested and validated across partner countries
3 fully developed learning pathways (Second Life of Product and Recycling; Traditional Craftsmanship and Sustainable Techniques; Cultural and Natural Heritage)
adult learners and educators trained through the testing of the learning pathways
promotional webinars and 1 international dissemination conference held in Poland
a transnational network of partner organisations across 4 European countries supporting innovation in adult education

General objective of the project: to advance digital and sustainable practices in agrotourism for VET providers and professionals. The sub-objectives are:

to improve the digital competencies of VET providers and professionals operating in the agrotourism sector
to promote sustainable and slow tourism practices within agrotourism through targeted vocational training
to foster transnational cooperation between VET institutions and tourism organisations across Europe

The results will be:

VET providers and professionals equipped with advanced digital and sustainable skills for the agrotourism sector
training materials and resources developed to support the integration of digital and sustainable practices in agrotourism VET programmes
a strengthened transnational network between VET institutions and tourism organisations in Europe

General objective of the project: to support the digital transformation and reintegration into the job market of creative women over 50 through targeted vocational training and non-formal learning. The sub-objectives are:

to improve the digital skills of creative women over 50 to enable their reintegration into the professional world
to raise awareness of climate change and connect participants with relevant associations through non-formal learning workshops
to foster transnational cooperation between VET organisations in Italy and North Macedonia

The results will be:

creative women over 50 equipped with digital skills for reintegration into the job market
Learning, Teaching and Training (LTT) activities delivered through non-formal workshops on digital transformation and climate change awareness
1 booklet documenting the results and best practices of the project
a strengthened transnational network of VET organisations across Italy and North Macedonia
